DescriptionWrought iron two-light columnar lamp base with tripod arched foot. Each foot ends in a dragon head and the arches enclose the flower of a thistle, highlighted with red and green enamel. The straight squared shaft is decorated with incised vines and berries highlighted with green and red enamel. The shaft ends at the top with three double c-scrolls that appear to be attached to the shaft with a pair of twisted and gilded ropes. The reproduction parchment shade is painted with Mannerist masks and scrolls and finished top and bottom with gilded gimp trim.
