DescriptionThis landscape oil painting features themes of the American West, with a decorated Native American man on a horse, presumably a trader. He rides a white horse, with a small herd of brown horses following behind him. Another rider can be seen in the distance, at the back of the herd. A small shelter or encampment is shown at the left, suggesting the herd is leaving camp to be traded.
