Reynolda Interiors, circa 1917

Katharine and R.J. Reynolds and their family moved into Reynolda at the end of 1917. These photographs, likely taken around that same time, show how many of the interior spaces in the house were originally arranged and furnished. Drawn from the museum’s historic photographs collection, these images served as a blueprint for the 2005 interpretation of many of these rooms.
